Make a lasting impact with stunning, natural semi-permanent make-up

If you’re looking to enhance your features, be on-trend with fashions or make a statement, semi-permanent make up can deliver stunning results that last.

Whether you’re looking for uber-trendy statement brows, sensual, smokey eyes or fuller, beautiful lips; I can help you achieve your dream look naturally and safely.

A medically qualified body art specialist I operate out of state-of-the-art, beautiful facilities.
Due to my extensive experience and expert skills; you can be confident your new sensational look will be in the safest of hands.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Wider, larger, brighter eyes will reflect the light and draw peoples’ focus to the beauty of the eyes. Adding definition and shape whether as a purely natural look or by creating a stronger liner look, or a soft smokey eye, will mean that you look just as good when you wake up in the morning, as you do all day. Go swimming, rub your tired eyes, play sports and dance in the rain, your eyeliner will never run.

Eye definition

Eye definition can be really natural. It gives the illusion that your lashes are full, like when you were a child. This can be achieved by tiny dots along the lash line or a fuller line in amongst the lashes creating a visual illusion of thicker lashes.

Eyeliner

This is similar to eye definition but more pigment and definition is added above the lashline. Rather than having to draw a liquid eyeliner on every day, or having smudged eyeliner, this solution lasts you all year without any hassle.

Smokey

A soft smokey eye for the sultry look can be added to define and re-shape your eyes. You will go to bed looking as hot as you did during the day. No more smudging, no more time spent drawing it on, no more worrying about it coming off. When it comes to cosmetics, semi-permanent smokey eyeliner truly rocks.

What can I expect?

After a treatment the area will look red, sometimes raised and darker than the desired result. It can take three to seven days to heal, slight sloughing may occur and then the colour will look approximately 50% lighter. The true colour then comes through over one to two months later. Eyelids can swell so don’t have an important event the next day.

An annual colour boost keeps semi-permanent makeup at its best.

The risks involved are minimal;

  • As with all injection sites there is a risk of infection. To minimise this risk the aftercare needs to be adhered to.
  • On a few occasions the skin does not retain the pigment well.

Consultation

An initial consultation of half an hour is required to determine your expectations and suitability of treatment.

A sensitivity patch test can be administered if you have any concerns regarding allergies, this needs to be 24 hours pre-treatment.

The first treatment can be administered at the same appointment as the consultation.

Pre-Treatment

Do not book an eye treatment within 48 hours of an important event. You may experience swelling. This will recede over 24-48 hours.

24 hours prior; do not take the following substances: Stimulants: Tea, coffee, soft drinks with caffeine or other substances containing stimulants.

Treatment

Permanent Makeup is administered over two to three sessions.

The treatment is NOT painful but can be tender. A topical anaesethic is used before and during the treatment to control the sensation.

The cost includes two treatments and the third treatment if needed is at a reduced rate.

Aftercare (For 7-14 days after the procedure)

NO WATER EXPOSURE for 48 hours and then minimal water for the following week.

AVOID EXPOSURE TO SUN, TANNING BEDS AND UV RAYS. Use effective sunscreen 30SPF or higher for protection.

What my patients say…

“When I first met Rae I thought I might have some makeup lessons as I was feeling and looking a bit tired, having just entered my 50s. We discussed it and decided that as I wasn’t in the habit of applying makeup every morning, I probably wasn’t about to start now. I was a bit nervous about having semi-permanent makeup done, but at every stage Rae was so attentive to my preferences and so professional that I felt reassured. I am so glad I went ahead – yes it was a bit uncomfortable on the day, but everything settled down quickly and the result is just what I wanted – with my brows and a subtle eyeliner done I now feel I look more lively without having to make any effort on a daily basis. I also had a consultation with Rae to address an issue of red patches on my face, and she produced a beautifully colour matched mixture of concealers and powder, which I was able then to obtain on prescription. This is really easy to use every day, and gives me much more confidence. Most definitely recommended.”

"Meeting Rae was really delightful. At a time during chemotherapy when I felt very vulnerable Rae was extremely sensitive to my feelings and needs. Learning some tips and tricks to help me do my make-up when I started losing my eyebrows and eyelashes really gave my self-confidence a boost. I can warmly recommend Rae for the gentle and kind way she dealt with my situation and I have used her tips throughout my treatment cycle."
