Make a lasting impact with stunning, natural semi-permanent make-up

If you’re looking to enhance your features, be on-trend with fashions or make a statement, semi-permanent make up can deliver stunning results that last.

Whether you’re looking for uber-trendy statement brows, sensual, smokey eyes or fuller, beautiful lips; I can help you achieve your dream look naturally and safely.

A medically qualified body art specialist I operate out of state-of-the-art, beautiful facilities.
Due to my extensive experience and expert skills; you can be confident your new sensational look will be in the safest of hands.

Do you want more definition or fuller, more luscious lips?

Do you wish they were brighter in colour? Could you do with more symmetry and a fuller top lip? Lips as with all the other features will lose definition and colour with age. Semi-permanent makeup can solve all these problems in just a few hours, and will last you years.

Lip line and blush

This will enhance your natural shape making the lips look fuller and more defined. Asymmetry can be evened out so that both sides are your best! You can choose between your natural lip colour so it blends in, or a stronger, brighter colour for that added pout.

Full lip fill

This treatment will give added definition, symmetry and fullness with an extra push of colour all over the lips. Have this treatment if you want brighter, sharper or stronger looking lips.

Asian lip fill

Do you find your lips are darker than you would like? Have they lost their lustre? A special blend of pigments implanted over a series of treatments will bring out the red or the pink tone that you desire.

Cleft lip

Do you feel your cleft lip repair has left you with a visible difference that you would like to improve? Following corrective surgery, you may find yourself without a cupid’s bow and top lip definition, as well as asymmetry to your mouth. This can be visually improved with the benefits of Medical Tattooing by introducing pigment into the vermillion border of your lips and creating a cupid’s bow. By subtly reshaping the borders we can add symmetry and definition.

Initially it may be useful to use MCA micro needling to smooth the texture of the skin and bring out as much natural pigment as possible.

After the micro needling has healed, pigments can be used to match your lip colour to create a new, symmetrical cupid’s bow. If you want added symmetry and definition around the whole of the top lip (and lower), this can be done in your natural lip colour or a lipstick colour of your choice. Generally, this takes two to three sessions.

Why choose semi-permanent make up?

  • Enhance your features
  • Add symmetry, definition and colour
  • Natural but stunning final results
  • Have an on-trend, fashionable look
  • Look as gorgeous when you wake up as you do when you go to bed!
  • No issues with lipstick wearing off on a night out, when swimming or doing sports
  • No more hassle of taking make up off at night!
  • Access a highly experienced and medically trained professional Semi-permanent make-up specialist

What can I expect?

The treatment is NOT painful but can be tender. Anaesethic can be used before and during the treatment to control the sensation.

After a treatment the area will look red, sometimes raised and darker than the desired result. It can take three to seven days to heal, slight sloughing may occur and then the colour will look approximately 50% lighter. The true colour then comes through over two to six months later.
Semi-permanent Makeup and Medical Tattooing can last between one to five years before a Colour Boost may be needed.

The risks involved are minimal;

  • If you have EVER HAD a cold sore in the past, you WILL need to take anti-viral tablets 5 days before and after the treatment (available from the chemist or your GP). The virus stays within the nerves and will reoccur when stimulated by a needle.
  • As with all injection sites there is a risk of infection. To minimise this risk the aftercare needs to be adhered to.
  • On a few occasions the skin does not retain the pigment well. The middle of the lower lip is a common place that rejects pigment.

An initial consultation of half an hour is required to determine your expectations and suitability of treatment.

A sensitivity patch test can be administered if you have any concerns regarding allergies.

What my patients say…

"I have had my semi-permanent make-up done now by Rae Denman for the last couple of years and have found it to be more than just having make-up applied.  It has had a profoundly positive effect on my self-esteem as, over the years with trauma and age, my lips had become very irregular in shape, let alone volume.  Rae has restored all of that with her expertise and artistry, coupled with her experience, I would always seek to use her services. And, I haven't even mentioned how clever she has been with my eyebrows!!"

"I have had my lips, eyeliner and more recently brows tattooed. I do not like wearing a lot of make up, I prefer a more natural look. I can walk out of the door without giving my face a second thought, it really has made looking fresh faced so easy. No glasses or magnifying mirror required. Thank you Rae."

My medical tattooing and cosmetic permanent make up practice is all about you, the client. I combine my extensive training, medical background and body art skills with a warm, empathetic approach to make you feel completely at ease. If you’re here because you want to address a visible difference, you can be confident that this is the first step towards a reinvigorated confidence and zest for getting on with your life.

If you want to enhance your features through skilfully applied semi-permanent makeup, you can be confident too; that you’ll get stunning results in a safe and high-quality environment.

As a specialist Medical Tattooist based in the South East of England, I have developed a reputation for scar camouflage and facial feature restoration in the field of Permanent Cosmetics, Medical Tattooing and Skin Camouflage.

I am a member of The British Association of Skin Camouflage and trained with them for temporary coverage of burns and scars and The Finishing Touches Group for Permanent Cosmetics and Medical Tattooing. Since then I have undertaken further specialist training with Nouveau Contour for brows and lips, and The Linda Paradis Group for tattoo removal.

As well as the private sector, I led NHS clinics at the Burns and Plastics unit, Morriston Hospital, Swansea, specialising in nipple/areola tattooing and temporary camouflage cover of burns and scars. I now run private clinics from Harley Street Skin Clinic in Reigate, Surrey and The McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead.

I was awarded the 20 years of excellence Life Changing Procedure for my work with nipple areola tattooing.
Last year I was featured on ITV ‘This Morning with Lorraine Kelly’ performing hair stroke brows for a feature on anti-ageing alongside Dr Khan and Dr Devine.

I collaborated with The Katie Piper Foundation and The Telegraph to create a time-lapse video of myself applying Camouflage and Makeup on a burns survivor demonstrating the positive effects this has on her physical and mental wellbeing.

My career has exposed me to a wealth of experience in understanding and communicating with clientele from varied backgrounds and social circles, each with different needs and expectations.

I’m passionate about using my skill and precision with detail to offer a high-end service and truly care about helping each individual find confidence within their appearance.
