About Rae Denman

Rae Denman is a leading practitioner in medical tattooing, specialising in the visual
reduction of scarring, skin grafts, and complex pigment loss. Her approach combines
technical precision with a grounded, patient-focused manner, ensuring that each treatment
plan is tailored, realistic, and clinically appropriate.

With a background in Graphic Design (BA Hons), Rae brings a highly trained eye for colour,
tone, and symmetry into her medical work. She holds advanced qualifications in cosmetic
tattooing, professional makeup and body art, and Core Synchronism Lymphatic therapy from
The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.

Her specialist training includes advanced study in scarring, areola restoration,
camouflage, vitiligo, skin graft repigmentation, and facial feature restoration,
alongside certification with the British Association of Skin Camouflage.

Rae’s clinical experience includes working within the NHS Burns and Plastics Department
at Morriston Hospital. She now practices privately at The London Scar Clinic on Harley
Street and in Reigate, Surrey.

Clinical Expertise and Recognition

Rae is recognised as one of the UK’s leading experts in medical tattooing for complex skin
conditions. She has developed advanced techniques for scar treatment and is the only
practitioner in the UK currently offering medical tattooing for port wine birthmark
camouflage, attracting patients from across the UK and internationally.

Her work extends beyond clinical practice. Rae acts as a medico-legal expert witness,
producing condition and prognosis reports for individuals with scarring, requiring a high
level of objectivity, detail, and professional judgement.

She has also worked as a paramedical camouflage consultant for The Katie Piper Foundation,
supporting burn survivors on a one-to-one basis, and her work has been recognised in both
media and award settings for its impact.

Gulben Kaya- Operations Manager

Gulben has joined the team as the new Operations Manager specialising in healthcare management. With over 3 years of experience, Gulben has a proven record of operational management and regulatory compliance whilst ensuring a high standard of patient care.

After achieving a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Medical Biotechnology and Business Management, Gulben has applied her skill set and attention to detail to help support the operational efficiency of the healthcare industry. She has now joined the RDMTEW team and will overseeing business operations and implementing systems to continue delivering a high standard of care to our patients.
