Find yourself a skin camouflage technician who is right for you and your needs
First of all contact The British Association of Skin Camouflage and ask if they have any practitioners near you. They have a large number of members all fully trained, throughout the country.
If there isn’t anyone close enough, research online for BASC trained practitioners that will come out to your house. Always make sure you see Before and After photographs of THEIR work. Check their website, speak to them on the phone beforehand, and ask as many questions as you feel necessary.
Most practitioners will have lots of different brands of Camouflage so they can determine which will be best suited to your skin type, area of the body and usage.
Camouflage should be something you can do on a daily basis if you want to, so it needs to be applied quickly and professionally. You WILL need to practice, but it should be shown in way that is easy and accessible once practiced. Do not spend hours filing in little marks – you will never have the time to do this.
Most importantly, feel comfortable with your practitioner; there are many out there, so do not be put off if you haven’t had a good result in the past.
Camouflage has moved forwards greatly in the last 5 years, as have technicians and their training. Keep searching, there are great technicians all over the country.
